Nikko Panella of Stockton has maintained a stranglehold over the Super 600 and Non-Wing divisions throughout the season as he tries to duplicate his 2022 championships sweep. Panella kept up the pressure on the rest of the Non-Wing competitors with his second win of 2025 during round six on July 26. The win places Panella into a nearly insurmountable 67-point advantage over Fresno’s Mattix Salmon. Brentwood’s Jeffrey Pahule is third followed by Brody Rubio of Manteca and Vito Celli of Stockton. A 30-lap feature is scheduled this Saturday for Non-Wing.
Nikko also leads the Super 600 battle with two victories while his older brother Alex is the most recent winner, earning his second win of 2025 in July from third in the standings. The top-five in the winged battle sees Nikko leading Mattix Salmon by 38 points followed by Alex Panella, Raio Salmon, and Vito Celli. The Super 600 dart around Delta Speedway in a 30-lap feature each week.
A-Class competition has tightened followed Kyle Fernandez’ first victory during round six. Sacramento’s Landon Henry leads Fernandez by just 38 points. Henry and Fernandez each have one victory and six top-five finishes in the inaugural season for the stock machines. Jackson Tardiff of Vacaville, Levi Osborne of Tracy, and Lucas Mauldin of Rancho Murieta make up the rest of the top-five with a 25-lap race on Saturday.
Manteca’s Briggs Davis is well on his way to a successful championship defense in Restricted, leading Rancho Murieta’s Maya Mauldin by 33 points. Connor Penix of Clovis, Bryson Sozinho, and Dean Skrifvars of Castro Valley are in pursuit as well. Restricted races for 25-laps.
Delta Speedway’s closest battle continues in the Jr. Sprints with Easton Wright of Martinez holding station by 19 markers after his third win of the season. Oakley’s Lucas Fenn is second. Samantha Dozier of Vacaville is only 27 points outside of the lead in third as well. Rookie Santino Gonella has had a strong season in fourth followed by Logan Fenn. Delta’s youngest drivers battle in a 20-lap feature for round seven.
